Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions:

What is your worship like?
Our anointed and talented worship team provides a passionate, contemporary and upbeat style of music. So you will see and hear guitars, keyboards, vocalists and drums. Music is so personal and everyone has a favorite, so you can't please everyone. We're just trying to do what we think blesses God and brings people closer to Him.
You’ll see people around with their hands up & down, with their eyes open and closed, some are singing loudly while others are just humming along! Some people may come forward to the altar area as an expression of their need for God’s touch or to convey their love for Him!

What's the preaching like?
At The House of Praise, it is our sincere desire to share God's Word in all its truth without watering anything down, but to do it in love, and in ways that are interesting, engaging and relevant to your daily life. While the Bible certainly does convict us of our sin in order to point out our lost condition, the overarching theme of the entire Bible is God's unconditional love for all humankind, as is shown by God sending His precious Son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sin. If you attend one of our services, you will hear the truths of God's Word presented passionately, clearly, and lovingly in ways that will make sense to you.

Offering Time - As a guest, feel no obligation to give during this time. Relax and enjoy the freedom of not giving. Giving is something we do every week as followers of Christ. Generous and cheerful giving is a tangible opportunity for us to place even our financial trust in God as we honor Him with our weekly tithe.

Do I have to dress up?
No, you don't. We encourage people to dress comfortably. For some, that may mean dressing up, but for most it simply means wearing casual clothes. The New Testament simply instructs us to dress modestly and decently, so we don’t burden people unnecessarily by requiring them to dress up in fancy clothes they don’t normally wear just to "go to church." We want everyone to come, be comfortable, and enjoy learning about God together.
